Privacy policy
This policy explains what Netwage collects and why.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs are sent in the page address (for example
/calculator/?wage=25&state=TX) so results can be bookmarked. We do not store them with anything that identifies you. - Server logs record IP address, page and browser for security and error diagnosis, kept for up to 30 days.
- API rate limiting stores a one-way hash of your IP address for about two minutes.
- Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.
Advertising and analytics
When advertising is enabled we use Google AdSense. When analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. These providers may set cookies and use your IP address to measure and personalise ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and nothing loads until they accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act) you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at our contact page.
Children
Netwage is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
